Eu nasci e me criei em Natal.

I was born and raised in Natal. At the age of 13, I met Jesus and my life was transformed. At the age of 16 I got into university and while there I met a team from Campus Crusade from Canada. I traveled with them for one week preaching the gospel with the Jesus film. During that week I received my calling to be a missionary and work with youth in the nations. At the age of 17 I left for the USA to study english and get involved in Missions training. I ended up joining YWAM there in 1987 and did two courses in the States.
From 1989 to 1993 I worked at the YWAM base in Contagem, travelling throughout Brazil and Central America, also other Latin countries. Always working with young people, evangelism, preaching in churches, etc. In 1994 I moved to the YWAM base in Tyler, Texas and was there for 9 years. During that time I was involved in many projects and help start youth summer camps and missions in eight countries, including Sweden. God started to put Europe on my heart. In 2003 I moved to Kona, Hawaii and worked very closely with YWAM founders at the University of the Nations. I leanred a lot in that time and worked in areas of leadership and training young leaders (Slingshot). I also strated INFUSION, a youth discipleship program there. In 2009 I moved to Sweden where I worked for six years and after having my visa denied by immigration I understood I needed to return to Brazil. I understood that this was the timing of God to help care for my elderly mom, reconnect with Brazil, with YWAM here and with what God is doing in this country. I have seen God's faithfulness in these 30 years of Missions work in over 50 nations where I have been. |
